Learning to Blog

The world of blogging is new to me.  I have followed several blogs for a time and have enjoyed them.  I'm not sure what possessed me to try my hand at it - - but here we are.

I think my main goal here is to talk a little about some of my passions: crochet, genealogy, games, and my family.  I will try to title each post so that anyone looking can decide if they are even interested in the topic of the day/hour/week. If you are a crochet fan, you probably wouldn't care too much about the three branches that connect my father's Burleson line, my mother's Underwood line, and my mother-in-law's Kitchens line all to Squire Boone, father of Daniel Boone.  And I'm sure that only friends and family would really enjoy hearing what my grandchildren are doing or if my brother has found a church to pastor.  Not to say you aren't welcome to read any post.

So let me say "Welcome" to anyone who cares to read what I have to say.  I hope you find something to entertain you, to enlighten you, or to intrigue you.  I welcome comments and questions and will respond to all.
